Belle needs your help as she fights for her life
Belle is only 6 weeks old, but she’s already overcome more than most kittens ever will.
She was rescued in Little Elm with her siblings— without their mom, flea-covered, and hungry. She was bottle fed around the clock and began weaning. But then Belle stopped eating and began limping. X-rays showed a serious old injury that damaged her back leg. As she grows, it’s causing severe pain—and she needs an amputation to live comfortably.
But that’s not all she’s facing.
🆘 Emergency Update:
Belle was rushed to the ER with pneumothorax—her lungs are leaking air into her chest, likely from the same trauma that hurt her leg. She’s struggling to breathe and stay strong.
She’s still hospitalized, and the vet team is working around the clock to stabilize her. She’s fighting hard—and even playing when she feels well enough—but she can’t win this battle without help.
We’re raising $5,000 to cover:
- Emergency ER care and hospitalization
- Ongoing treatments to stabilize her lungs
- Pain management and leg amputation
- Post-op recovery and medications
